New York State Exhibit Building and Fountain Lake Amphitheatre, New York World's Fair 1939

Combing exhibit space for displays relating to New York State and a huge open air theatre, these two structures overlook Fountain lake. The stage of the theatre is 180 feet wide and is separated from the spectators by a 60-foot canal of open water. The daily aquacade presented on this stage is one of the highlights of the Fair's many entertainments.
