Republic of Poland Exhibition, the New York World's Fair, The Polish Pavilion

Built on an area of 65,000 square feet, the Pavilion is dominated by a 141 foot Tower of gilded lattice work. The design, of which two young Polish architects, Jan Cybulski and Jan Galinowiski, are the authors, combines the mediaeval traditions of Polish architecture with modernistic effect. Outside the Pavilion is a Statue of King Wladyslaw Jagiello, who reigned in Poland from 1386-1434.
