Painting of Fair buildings

Architectural splendor of the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition, on Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay, will be enhanced by a landscaping program costing $1,500,000. It will provide many tree-lined promenades and sunken gardens - one of them is this Court of Honor with its 400-foot Tower of the Sun. On the left is the Hall of the Mineral Empire on the right, the Homes and Gardens building.
